On Wednesday, the Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department will host a Pan Punjab placement drive across the districts known as Rozgar Melas.
Punjab Recruitment Drive 2023
Aman Arora, the minister for Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development, and Training, provided information on the effort and stated that more than 10,000 jobs with pay ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 60,000 would be made available to job seekers.
He emphasized that this push would take place concurrently in every district. 425 prominent employers, including Vardhman, Sportking, Flipkart, Airtel, and Reliance, are taking part in this placement campaign.
Job seekers – including postgraduates, graduates (tech/non-tech), diploma holders, ITI, 12th pass, matric pass candidates and even youths who have not received any formal education qualification – can try their luck in the drive, he informed.
According to Aman Arora, interested individuals can register either immediately at the placement drive location or by visiting the employment portal (http://www.pgrkam.com) or the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises. He said that the department’s job portal also has information about the locations.
